1、提高电焊设备及线路的绝缘性能。使用的电焊设备及电源电缆必须是合格品，其电气绝缘性能与所使用的电压等级、周围环境及运行条件要相适应；焊机应安排专人进行日常维护和保养，防止日晒雨淋，以免焊机电气绝缘性能降低。

2、当焊机发生故障要检修、移动工作地点、改变接头或更换保险装置时，操作前都必须要先切断电源。

3、加强作业人员用电知识及自我防护意识教育，要求焊工作业时必须穿绝缘鞋、戴专用绝缘手套。禁止雨天露天施焊；在特别潮湿的场所焊接，人必须站在干燥的木板或橡胶绝缘片上。

4、禁止利用金属结构、管道、轨道和其它金属连接作导线用。在金属容器或特别潮湿的场所焊接，行灯电源必须使用12V以下电压。

5、施工人员在操作时，必须穿戴好各种劳保用品，如工作服、工作帽、手套、脚盖等工作服不要束在裤腰里，脚盖应捆在裤脚筒里。

6、在焊接和切割工作场所，必须有防火设备，如消防栓、灭火器、砂箱以及装满水的水桶等。
